In honor of National Slurpee Day, convenience retailer 7-Eleven is celebrating it’s 86th birthday with free small Slurpees Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“We expect to give away 7 million cups in the U.S. and Canada,” 7-Eleven spokesperson Margaret Chabris told the Daily News of the frozen frenzy.
“The most popular year-round flavors are cherry, Coke and blue raspberry. People love to have their tongues turn the shade of blue!” Chabris said of the free flavors offered in 12-ounce cups — almost double the size of last year’s — which normally retail for $1.29.
